SplitmediaLabs Releases Update To 321meet.com

Date Posted : April 11, 2011

Hong Kong. — April 11, 2011 — SplitmediaLabs today announced the second public beta release of it’s simple meeting solution 321meet.com.

This simple meeting solution, which features unique screen sharing and application sharing capabilities right from the browser, just got even more powerful and user-friendly.

Based on the solid feedback we got from users during the past month, we are still working to further improve usability and fine tune the features of 321meet. With the current release we just included HD low latency camera capture.- This feature is useful when the presenter wants to show "what is in his hand" rather than just on his screen.

We further made it even simpler to invite people for a meeting over the phone. When you create a meeting, your room is now automatically associated with a temporary 5 digit session ID. This ID is all a user needs to know to join your meeting. When starting up a meeting as host from 321meet.com, you will be shown a five digit number, e.g. 20401. Then all you need to tell your intended participants on the phone is:

"Please go to '321meet.com/20401'"

The person on the phone can now see your screen or your web camera in low latency HD (if your camera supports this).
