License Information

Free, Private License – this license type allows registered private individuals to use VHScrCap driver in non-commercial applications or solutions. Non-commercial applications or solutions are hereby defined as applications or solutions not used to engage in commercial activities. A free license does not provide access to the VHScrCap Programming API.

Commercial (Branded) – this license type allows companies, organizations or individuals to develop 1 commercial or non-commercial application or solution using VHScrCap. This license provides full access to the VHScrCap Programming API but requires the licensee to obtain a commercial license key from SplitMediaLabs Ltd. For this license type, no royalties or additional run-time licenses is required. Such license keys can be acquired by signing a license agreement with SplitmediaLabs and payment of a one time License fees of 400 USD which includes free bug fixes and upgrades to all minor versions. Hence, If you license version 3 your license will cover all versions 3.x

For Free and Branded license, free support is NOT provided.

Commercial (Non-Branded) – this license type allows companies, organizations or individuals to develop 1 commercial application or solution using VHScrCap. This license is white label and provides full access to the VHScrCap Programming API. The Commercial white label license is granted on case to case basis  usually depending on the type of application and deployment.

Please note that Commercial (Non-Branded) licensing of VH Screen Capture Driver is only granted for use within a proprietary desktop or web application. It is not possible to obtain a Commercial (Non-Branded) license to simply use the driver as live streaming video source with FMLE or another encoder application.
