XSplit announces next phase of NewTek partnership with full support of the NewTek Connect Spark™

· News

SplitmediaLabs, developers of XSplit, Challonge and Player.me are pleased to announce the next phase in an ongoing partnership with NewTek, creators of Tricaster and the global leaders in IP video technology. SplitmediaLabs’ flagship Live streaming and recording application XSplit Broadcaster has announced plans to fully support the NewTek Connect Spark™ with the XSplit Broadcaster 3.1 Version update. The NewTek Connect Spark™ is a portable device designed to deliver SDI or HDMI video to a computer and/or an IP network, wirelessly and provides 3G SDI or HDMI conversion up to 1080p 60fps with loop through.

“Our development team has worked closely with NewTek to ensure that we deliver a cutting edge user experience for professional content creators and hobbyists, whether creating video game content from the comfort of their home, or large scale esport tournament broadcasts” says Andreas Hoye, COO of SplitmediaLabs. “With this continuing partnership with NewTek, we hope to further empower independent content creators with the tools needed to create high quality broadcasts, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional live production tools.”
XSplit users are currently able to take advantage of this new compatibility with XSplit Broadcaster’s latest PTR build (Public Test Release 7), but intend to provide additional functionality and refinements with the final release of XSplit 3.1 later this summer.
